Yu Darvish 2012 Bowman Superfractor auto
Topps tweeted this picture of the Yu Darvish Superfractor auto today – how cool is that?
I think it is cool that Yu is holding that card so carefully – I don’t want it bent when I pull it out of my 8 cases of 2012 Bowman Jumbo! haha
Fortunately this should not be a value box pull – Topps usually uses Allen & Ginter in the second value box of the year.
So, besides the Darvish, what superfractor autos are you hoping for? Or that will sell for the most? Do you think Yoenis Cespedes will have an auto in Bowman or wiull they hold that for chrome… or even draft?
Hope you like the picture!

Dear HoudiniCollector,
CONGRATS ON THE GOLDEN TICKET!
I’ve been subscribed to your youtube channel for a while now and learn a lot from your expertise in the hobby, which is why I thought to write you today.
I pulled one of the Gold Yu Darvish Refractor Autographs this morning—biggest $ pull of my life by far; same Jumbo box as an Oscar Taveras blue refractor auto—and I don’t know what to do with it. It looks great, so I thought about forking over a chunk of money for a quick grade, but I’m also sending a whole shipment in to be graded soon, so if time is not of the essence here, I considered sending it with those 30 or 40 cards I’m going to get graded at the 45-day price from BGS.
My other thought is to let it ride tonight on either a 7 or 10-day auction. From what I’ve gathered on your videos, you believe this to be the best route with almost every big hit, and I agree. However, mine will be the first gold auto to be auctioned from what I can tell, so that’s new for me and a little difficult.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and any help you can offer would be wonderful.
Sincerely,
Nick Roos
PS: My Ebay account is frazier15n, and the card is listed now with a crappy scan if you have a thought to take a look.
